RIDE POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 15 - Texas Equestrian Trail Rider's Association Free "Get Acquainted" Trail Ride, Heart of Texas Cowboy Church, 5101 Kendall Lane, Waco, TX. TETRA/SNAP Benefit Ride for State Natural Area, The Lodge, Hill Country State Natural Area, Bandera, TX. Spring benefit ride partnered by SNAP and TETRA. Campground to open at 2pm on 3/31/17. This will be the first time that there is access to the arena and there will be a playday Saturday morning and a Star Party scheduled for Friday night. Saturday morning before riding out, entertainment will be provided by the Hill Country State Natural Area Junior Rangers' Drill Team. Guided trail ride groups will be held Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. There are 5 electric hoopups available at the front of The Lodge adn an open pasture behind the lodge for dry camping; generators allowed overnight. There will be a separate area for non-generators. Pens are available, also. TEXT Debby at 512-517-9476 to reserve. Registration begins at 5pm, Friday, March 31. Cowboy stew will be provided until gone. Registration will commence at 7am on Saturday/Sunday mornings. A current negative Coggins certificate for each horse must be presented at resitration. FEES: Member Adults: $30/Non-Member Adults $35. Children under 18 years old are free. Day riders: $15 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday. Non-potable water is available for the horses. Fee for electric hookup site is $25 for the weekend. Horse pens are $10 for the weekend. Breakfast each day will be served 7:30-8:45am. Lunch each day is on your own. Potluck supper on Saturday night will be at 6:30 pm.
